Description
The Chiang Mai Elephant Legend is an elephant care center located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Here, elephants are kept in a secure environment and are allowed to remain in their natural habitat. The mission of the sanctuary is to provide a place where these incredible animals can exist on their own terms and interact with one another in their natural setting.
Guests will have a delightful time spending the day with the elephant family while also supporting community-based, environmentally-friendly ecotourism. Activities include bathing and grooming the elephants, as well as feeding them, creating medicine balls (food) for them, and playing with them in the mud. The elephants' physical health and emotional well-being are treated with the greatest respect by the sanctuary. Amazing and life-changing are two words that have been used to characterize the experience that guests had.

Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai. Your driver and guide will meet you at your Chiang Mai city accommodation. Drive approximately 1.5 hours to Chiang Mai Elephant Legend.
Stop at the local market to get supplies for the day. Explore the market with your guide and learn about the local products and pick up some snacks and supplies for your day with the elephants.
Meet the elephants. Your guide will introduce you to these majestic creatures and teach you about their care and behavior. Learn how to prepare vitamin balls, a nutritious treat for the elephants.
Spend time with the elephants, feeding them and cuddling them. Take photos and enjoy this unique opportunity to interact with these gentle giants.
Enjoy a Thai Lunch.
After lunch, have a mud spa with the elephants. Help apply mud to their skin, which helps protect them from insects and keeps them cool. It’s a fun and messy activity that both you and the elephants will enjoy!
Share a bath with the elephants in a nearby river or pond. Help wash off the mud and cool down on a hot day. It’s a refreshing experience for both you and the elephants!
Take a natural shower at the Sticky Waterfalls. These unique waterfalls have a sticky surface that allows you to climb up them easily
Drive back to Chiang Mai, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
