Description
It’s now time to provide an elephant haven for them with no riding. Walk together to the green fields, roam free, play in the mud, eat well and swim in the deep river. It is time to retire them from their labors, young or old, and say goodbye to being ridden. It is time for people to come to treat them with respect.
Experience a compassionate and immersive encounter with rescued elephants at Elephant Haven, nestled in the serene Sai Yok region of Kanchanaburi. This half-day morning program invites you to observe and interact with elephants in a natural, ethical setting, free from riding and performances.
Upon arrival, receive a safety briefing and learn about the sanctuary's mission to provide a haven for elephants retired from labor. Engage in preparing food and feeding the elephants, fostering a bond built on trust and care. Accompany these gentle giants on a serene walk through the forest, observing their natural behaviors and social interactions.
After the walk, enjoy a traditional Thai vegetarian lunch while reflecting on the morning's enriching experiences. This program offers a meaningful opportunity to support elephant welfare and engage in responsible tourism, fostering a deeper understanding and respect for these majestic creatures.

After lunch come observing the elephants playing mud in the pit
Walk with the elephant to the river and bathe them
After the activity you will be walking back to the project alongside the elephants.
After went back from the walk, you will be handing with food for the elephants

Hat, Towel, Sunscreen, Sandals/Flip Flops, Shoes for walking, Camera, Bug Repellent and dry clothes for change after you swim with Elephants.
1. You can reserve the activity by sending an email to: [email protected] 2. You have to make a reservation 7 days in advance before the event date. (In case of emergency, reservations must be made at least one day in advance.) 3. 50% of the deposit must be paid or paid in full 7 days before the activity date. 4. In case of cancellation of reservation, be notified 7 days before the activity. ( In case of emergency, at least one day's notice must be given). 5. In case of payment, but the customers cancel booking, we will keep the balance for the next reservation (within 90 days from the date of the cancellation.)
