Description
Our Half Day Morning program offers a unique opportunity to meet our rescued elephants and learn about their history, behavior as well as the ethics of elephant care in Thailand. During the tour, you will get to observe how our friendly giants spend their morning in their natural habitat and experience the ethical ways to care for these majestic creatures.
Embark on a meaningful morning at Elephant Haven, a sanctuary in Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi, dedicated to providing a peaceful, chain-free environment for rescued elephants. This half-day program offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of these majestic animals, emphasizing ethical interaction and education.
Upon arrival between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m., you'll receive a safety briefing before preparing food and feeding the elephants, fostering a bond through direct engagement. Accompany the elephants on a tranquil walk through the forest, observing their natural behaviors and learning about their history and care. The experience concludes with a vegetarian Thai lunch at the sanctuary.
This program is designed for visitors seeking a respectful and educational encounter with elephants, promoting awareness and support for ethical elephant tourism.

Itinerary
Pick up from your accommodation at 06:30 am - 07:00 am and travel around 1.5 hours to the ethical elephant camp in Mae Wang District.
Visit a local market to support the local community before heading to the camp.
Learn about Thai elephants and the ethical approaches to care for these majestic creatures.
Walk with our elephants into the tropical jungle to observe how they live freely in their natural habitat.
Dip into a natural mud spa with our elephants and help keep them clean by bathing and brushing their skins.
Say goodbye to your new found friends and return to your accommodation in Chiang Mai at around 1:30pm.

For our cancellation policy, kindly be informed that cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the tour departure time are applicable for a full refund. However, if the cancellations are made within 24 hours or no show, no refunds will be given for any reason. In case of a cancellation made due to an unexpected reason (i.e. accident, hospital admission, death, flight delay and epidemic) and a medical certificate or a supporting document is submitted, we will issue a credit note which can be used for the next booking.
